The final game of the season is here this Saturday, and after 17 weeks there's plenty to play for!
Our 2nd XI will be up at Stokenchurch, hoping a win will lift them out of the relegation zone, spirits are up after some close finishes in recent weeks and Stokenchurch having lost to bottom of the league last week. A good performance is required and some luck to hope other results go our way to keep us in Division 5A for next season.

At Bledlow, our 1st XI take on Buckingham Town, whilst we will be looking for a win to clinch the title! Buckingham will also be pushing for a result to guarantee avoiding relegation.
Our 1s last got promoted from Division 3 in 2016, finishing runners up. Back then, there was only one Division 3, before the OCA merged into the Cherwell league, now with a Division 3a and 3b to regionalize things, finishing 1st is the only way to get promoted to Division 2! Having spent from 2017-2023 in Division 2, but relegated into Division 3 for the 2024 season, the team are desperate to get back to Division 2 at their 2nd attempt, a place they feel they belong.

We need to pick up 2 points on Saturday to be crowned champions, but the team will be looking to pick up all 25 points with a win to do it in style!
The last time our 1st XI won a title was Division 5 in 2006, so Saturday has the potential to be a special day for the club!
It would be great to see our members come out and support our teams this Saturday, and all are welcome at the clubhouse in the evening for our annual last game of the season drinks, and hopefully celebrations!
